I got a new camera today so there will probably be lots of new pictures for a while! I hope no one minds :)

Ben took a week off recently before starting his new job. We spent the time just relaxing at home and doing some fun things that we don't do as often as we'd like.

One of the days we went fishing on one of the mountain creeks. The kids had a great time, but unfortunately we were too loud for the fish--didn't catch anything.

After that we stopped along the way and took a short hike to an overlook. Ben and I used to hike this almost every weekend when I was pregnant with Wyatt (we lived just up the road from the trail).

AND...the highlight of the week. We drove 3 hours to Sonic!!!!! I had found out last fall that there is one in Lancaster county, and now there are 2! Ben was going to take me for Mother's Day but we were too tired after church to drive.

It should have only taken 2 hours, but Natalie puked in the car and I had no extra clothes. So we stopped to clean her up and then I had to find somewhere to buy some clothes. But once we got there everyone was so excited!!!

Ben starts his new job on Monday and for a while now he's needed a new (more reliable) vehicle. We spent the entire day on Thursday driving around looking at the new jeeps, and fortunately got an amazing deal on one that came with both the hard and soft top, as well as power everything. And it's a discontinued color so not too many like it! We've had a good time driving around and actually got caught in the rain today with the top down! The kids thought it was fun but Ben and I didn't :)
