The Peanut

I went to see my midwife on Monday and everything is looking good! She told me she's camping out at our house this time around b/c she didn't make it in time for Natalie's birth!
I went in for an ultrasound just to ease my mind since this pregnancy is so very different than with the other 2 munchkins. I'm not near as sick. On a scale of 1-10, with Wyatt and Natalie I was a 50 and this time it's about a 5.
I'm happy to report that baby has a very strong heartbeat and looks great!

On our 2nd day of vacation we went into town for lunch (ate breakfast in our room) and then explored just a little. After lunch we swam for a little bit in the hotel pool and then took a nice nap :). That evening we took the kids to see Wall-E (very good) and then ate dinner at a yummy buffet on the resort.
Then, we played mini golf! We all had a lot of fun, although I think Ben was getting a little antsy b/c me and the kids were all terrible! But we had fun and that's what counts!

Mini Vacation Part 1

On Thursday night we drove down to Massanutten Resort in VA for a 'mini' vacation. It was for one of those timeshare deals that they try to rope you into, but since we turned them down the first time, the 2nd time they offered to pay US to come. So we stayed for free and got paid, too!

They have an awesome indoor/outdoor waterpark that was lots of fun! We did a day pass and took a little break in the middle of the day, but still spent a LOT of time here!

The kids anxiously waiting for it to open!

Wyatt proved himself to be quite the daredevil....he and Ben spent most of their time on the waterslides. They went on every one numerous times. This one made me a bit nervous.

Wyatt is on the blue and Ben is on the orange. Wyatt didn't have a whole lot of weight to give him as much speed as daddy!

This is a really dark picture of the ones they spent most of the time on (it was dark when I took it). Apparently one of them was totally dark through the entire tunnel. Fortunately I got to use the pregnancy excuse to not go on any :)

As for Natalie, this was as daring as it got. I like that she plays it safe!

And here she is, eating her meal of choice lately. A side salad is much cheaper than a happy meal :)
The water park had a great arcade (along with some yummy restaurants), so the kids got to play some fun mini bowling!

And this is what Wyatt looked like after hours in the water--except his eyes were almost the color of his shirt, so red. poor thing slept good that night!

We did so much more and I have so many pictures to go through, so hopefully i'll get those done soon!

Long Overdue!

Yes, it's been a while since we updated! But i'm sure I can give some good excuses--Grammy, Suzanne, Grace, and Nolan were here visiting for almost 2 weeks so we stayed nice and busy! Since they left I haven't been feeling too hot, and with good reason--baby #3 is on it's way! We're expecting him/her in Feb and i'm not sure which of us is more excited! The kids are already picking out names (none of which will be on the final list i'm sure--you should hear them!).

Now for some pictures!

We went down to the stream near our house and tried to get some good pics of the kids. It started raining on us, and they were more interested in playing in the water than sitting still for a picture!

Poor baby never gets fed so he has to resort to eating rocks!

Natalie was really concerned with snakes being in the water so it was hard to get her to look at the camera!
