snow day!

We finally had enough snow today to really play in! The kids had a great time with their new saucers that they got from Santa, and now we're heading out with Daddy to try out our new sled!

I officially feel very pregnant. I haven't felt uncomfortable this entire pregnancy, but as of yesterday I can't breathe. My ribs hurt, too. I'm 36 weeks and now counting the days :)

Sibling Class!

Last night Wyatt and Natalie took a sibling class at the hospital...they were so excited and ended up being the only two signed up so they got lots of 'personal teaching'!
Here they are with their babies

I was quite suprised that Wyatt was really good at swaddling...he remembered how to do it even after we got home!

Learning how to change those diapers!

Natalie turned out to be quite the perfectionist when it came to taking care of her baby...everything had to be just right!

After learning lots of great tips they got to check out one of the hospital rooms and the nursery. Then we came back to the classroom and painted shirts to wear when baby comes!

We left them at the hospital to dry, but when we pick them up i'll post a picture of the finished product!

This year Natalie started taking a fun little ballet class once a week for homeschoolers. We were so excited to be able to do this, as she loves to dance but not so much to perform. A very sweet teenager (and a good dancer) teaches and Natalie loves it! A few years ago we sunk a lot of money into classes that she hated, and then paid an outrageous amount of money for a recital in which she stood on the stage and didn't do anything resembling dancing!

Sooo...this is more in her comfort zone! No big recitals, just small ones for parents at the studio.

Back in early Dec they did a little Christmas recital for us (hence the red and green bows). She was still pretty shy but I was so excited to see just how much fun she is having! And at $3 a class we can all be happy :)
