This year Natalie started taking a fun little ballet class once a week for homeschoolers. We were so excited to be able to do this, as she loves to dance but not so much to perform. A very sweet teenager (and a good dancer) teaches and Natalie loves it! A few years ago we sunk a lot of money into classes that she hated, and then paid an outrageous amount of money for a recital in which she stood on the stage and didn't do anything resembling dancing!

Sooo...this is more in her comfort zone! No big recitals, just small ones for parents at the studio.

Back in early Dec they did a little Christmas recital for us (hence the red and green bows). She was still pretty shy but I was so excited to see just how much fun she is having! And at $3 a class we can all be happy :)

Isn't it great to find things that are cheaper and your kids still love them! Looks like fun!

She looks like she's having a great time. Ballet is so expensive. I don't know if McKenna is ever going to do that. Just the outfits are outrageous! I'm glad you were able to find a class that was a good fit for Natalie!
