Wyatt wanted a picture of him and Mason together today...they already love each other so much!
Almost sitting up by himself! It won't be long!
Last night our church had a pool party at the local country club--the kids really did have fun, although you can't tell from Natalie's face...who knows what she was mad about!?!

Trying hard not to smile! She loves the water and really did have a great time!

Wyatt and his friend...they had a good time jumping in. A lot! And yes, we do feed him. The kids is always eating, and lots of healthy stuff, too!

Hopefully in a few days i'll have some pictures from the kids' swim lessons. Someone hold me to that, okay?

Quick Trip

This past Friday night we made a quick trip out to visit Ben's parents. The kids love going to MomMom and PopPop's house, and we don't get to go that often so it's a super treat!
Natalie loves the big wooden swing :)
And they spent a LOT of time in the pool!

Thanks for having us out to visit!

oh my hurting heart

Wyatt just asked if he's old enough for a girlfriend!!
He got the long answer, but in short I said NO! Even though I would totally approve of the sweet girl he had in mind, I just can't wrap my mind around the fact that he even asked that!

So the All You Grocery Challenge started yesterday, and i've already made 2 trips to the grocery :(
But I haven't spent much each time. I'll post a total rundown of our week, hopefully on Sunday.
These are my bargains for today
Nature's Promise Organic bread, marked down to 1.89
4 Propel waters, $1 each (used .50/1, doubled)
4 Pepsi Zero, $1.35 each (.50/1, doubled)
4 Betty Crocker brownie mixes, $1 each (.75/2, doubled)
So my total was $4.29
I didn't plan to buy bread on this trip, but we would need some by the end of the week so I took advantage of finding it on sale!

Our sweet little Mason is 5 months! It's hard to believe this much time has passed already. Doesn't he look so big in that picture above?

He's not sure why I have that black thing in his face again.

Trying to grab the camera!

He wakes up 1-2 times at night still, and he sleeps in his crib! When we put him in there he just plays and talks...so sweet!

He loves to stand--all the time! He plays in his exersaucer every morning and spins all around. He rolls over and over again...no more staying on a blanket to play!

He can put away some applesauce and peas...the peas are his favorite!
He loves the kids so much...he laughs and grabs at them. Especially Natalie's hair--that's really fun! And every day when Ben comes home he just smiles and laughs.
He has started reaching for us every now and then. And he has definitely found his feet. They are constantly in his mouth!
Still no teeth yet, although i'm expecting any day to wake up and find some in there. He is the latest to get them. Wyatt and Natalie both had their bottom teeth by 4 months.
All-in-all things are still going great!!

Grocery Challenge

Okie Dokie my friends...I signed up for the All You Grocery Challenge and i'm planning to blog about my spending, mainly for myself but also a way to be accountable to the challenge! I can spend $25 per person each week (we won't count Mason). I thought "This will be so easy!"....until I read that this includes takeout, too. We tend to eat too much 'on the run'.
So I have a question. For those of you who care, should I share it on this site or create another one just for that? I was leaning toward another one, but i'm still not sure. The challenge starts on Sunday so I have to get on the ball!
And right now i'm re-doing my coupon organizer. I'm really, really hoping it works well this time!
