School Time!

Today we officially started school! I can't believe it's time for 1st grade already :(. Natalie is going to be at the YMCA for preschool starting in Sept, but we'll still include her in our school time at home.

Today the kids made 'All About Me' books. They were both excited to start the year!

We once again moved our school room (about the 3rd time maybe?) and have decided we like this setup a lot. Hopefully we can keep it this way for a while!

Our New (temporary) family members

Our kitty had babies about 4.5 weeks ago and we have enjoyed them so much. Thankfully she only had 3! The kids love them and I think the feeling is mutual!

Please note: I had nothing to do with naming them!

This is Alvie. He is so, so sweet! He was the first to purrr when held, and he loves to sit on me and snuggle!

This is Jenna...she is a big ball of fluff! She is the more playful one, yet a little shy. And she is the biggest!
This is Stripey--Natalie's favorite. She was born 24 hours after the others and is the runt. Natalie carries her around a lot, but I think Stripey likes it! She follows Natalie around a lot!

We really, really hope that some of our sweet friends will give these babies nice homes. Ben said that he is going to put them in little baskets and leave them on doorsteps (watch out, becki!).

Things are going good around here...I made it through the 1st trimester and am finally feeling 'normal' again! I'm working hard to get the house back in order and get us ready to start school (hopefully next week!). I'm also hoping to post some pictures soon--I just have to find my camera cord!
