Princess Night!

We had some coupons for free sanwiches at Chick Fil A, and tonight was kid's night. So I convinced Ben to go since it was also "princess" night! I can honestly tell you that I have never seen so many little girls dressed up in one place! It was beyond packed but well worth it!

They had a red carpet for the girls to walk in on, and a very handsome prince was at the door handing out flowers to the little girls. So sweet!

And on kids night the meals are .99cents, so you can't beat that!

So I have to share some things Wyatt said over the last day, and I also need to write them down somewhere for 'later'!

Last night I was getting the kids ready for bed and Wyatt was in his room. When I walked in he asked if I heard him talking to someone in there? Nope, I sure didn't. "It's okay", he says, " I was just talking to the Lord" :)

Then when I went into his room later to get Mason, I noticed Wyatt had fallen asleep holding his bible. This morning, on the way to camp, he asked if I had noticed that. He then said it felt just like he was hugging God! So funny!

Mason--4 months!

I can't put this update off anymore! I'm only 2 weeks overdue!

Mason is still such a sweet little baby. At his 4 month appointment he was 13lb 9 oz and 26 inches -- long and lean :)

He loves to constantly stand when you're holding him, and he loves to just look around and check things out. He now spends a lot of time in his exersaucer and it's so funny how he bounces and spins around.

We've started him on organic applesauce and apples in his little mesh feeder

Let me tell you--this boy loves to eat! He is always trying to grab our food, and he can down some applesauce! I hadn't planned to start solids until 6 months, but he was so interested in us eating that we tried early.

He has been sleeping a good stretch of 6-7 hours at night (in his crib)**I should say he doesn't always do this, but maybe 50% of the time**. You can bet that by 7:30 every night he's ready for bed! Often I bring him in bed with me in the early morning and he loves to snuggle. He's also gotten used to taking naps with Grammy and snuggling with her--i'm not sure what we'll do when she isn't here anymore! He's going to miss that!

Wyatt and Natalie are still very excited about him and the new things he does. Every chance he gets, he grabs a handful of Natalie's hair and pulls. Fortunately she laughs :)

A rundown of what's going on with Mason now (4.5 months)

*eating apples/sauce

*smiles/laughs a LOT!

*grabs feet (still haven't gotten them in the mouth)

*rolls front to back

*working hard on those bottom teeth--we can almost see them!

Hopefully i'm not missing anything!

I promise I am going to try and update soon. I keep thinking I need to and when I sit to upload pictures I get distracted (imagine that!).
