Good grief it's been a while since i've blogged on here!  We have been so busy with lots of different things lately.  I'm on a serious mission to declutter and we're going to be having a yard sale soon.  It feels so nice to be getting rid of stuff!!

Melt my bargain-loving heart!!

I was in the kitchen pouring coffee and Wyatt brought his little friend in and said "Hey, let me show you how much money my mom knows how to save".  Then he opened the fridge and showed him the ridiculous stash of biscuits that we've been getting for practically nothing, and said "isn't that cool?".  

I loved hearing that!

Ours was wonderful!  We had beautiful weather and were all so thankful for this amazing Resurrection day!

What a mess we are!

It's no secret that I love a good bargain and that Ben loves fishing.  

I had to laugh at us tonight as we were driving..our conversation went about like this....

 

Me:  Can you believe that Kmart didn't have anything that I went for?

Ben:  I am so glad I found that new fishing spot.  I can't wait to go back

Me:  I paid less than $1 for all of it...Look!

Ben:  Man, that fish was huge.  I mean it...he was a big one.  I'm going back for him

Me:  If only that one other coupon would have doubled, I could have had a better deal

Ben:  Man, I can't believe how big that fish was.  And we was RIGHT THERE!  

Me:  Seriously, that was an awesome transaction....see??  LOOK!!!

Ben:  I almost had him...so close!

This went on the entire way home.  I feel bad for our kids!!!

Mud

I was cleaning out the van and all 3 kids were nearby playing...I could see them just fine but couldn't really tell what they were doing (they were huddled around a spot in the grass).  After about 20 minutes I was done and walked over to find this.  Of course the big two weren't anywhere near as muddy!
