It's no secret that I love a good bargain and that Ben loves fishing.
I had to laugh at us tonight as we were driving..our conversation went about like this....
Me: Can you believe that Kmart didn't have anything that I went for?
Ben: I am so glad I found that new fishing spot. I can't wait to go back
Me: I paid less than $1 for all of it...Look!
Ben: Man, that fish was huge. I mean it...he was a big one. I'm going back for him
Me: If only that one other coupon would have doubled, I could have had a better deal
Ben: Man, I can't believe how big that fish was. And we was RIGHT THERE!
Me: Seriously, that was an awesome transaction....see?? LOOK!!!
Ben: I almost had him...so close!
This went on the entire way home. I feel bad for our kids!!!

Hilarious! But it sounds rather familiar (minus the fishing part b/c Ryan doesn't fish).
That cracks me up. I've been talking about coupons non stop and Steve is getting sick of it. He is talking about his new exercise plan and his weight loss, and I am getting sick of it. Glad we're not the only ones with those kinds of conversations!
