I got a new camera today so there will probably be lots of new pictures for a while! I hope no one minds :)

Ben took a week off recently before starting his new job. We spent the time just relaxing at home and doing some fun things that we don't do as often as we'd like.

One of the days we went fishing on one of the mountain creeks. The kids had a great time, but unfortunately we were too loud for the fish--didn't catch anything.

After that we stopped along the way and took a short hike to an overlook. Ben and I used to hike this almost every weekend when I was pregnant with Wyatt (we lived just up the road from the trail).

Natalie didn't like sitting on the big rock.

AND...the highlight of the week. We drove 3 hours to Sonic!!!!! I had found out last fall that there is one in Lancaster county, and now there are 2! Ben was going to take me for Mother's Day but we were too tired after church to drive.
It should have only taken 2 hours, but Natalie puked in the car and I had no extra clothes. So we stopped to clean her up and then I had to find somewhere to buy some clothes. But once we got there everyone was so excited!!!

Natalie enjoying her Wacky Pack

wyatt couldn't understand why the other people had their food but ours was taking so long!

Mr. Cool on the way home...We put the top down and he was enjoying that!

Ben starts his new job on Monday and for a while now he's needed a new (more reliable) vehicle. We spent the entire day on Thursday driving around looking at the new jeeps, and fortunately got an amazing deal on one that came with both the hard and soft top, as well as power everything. And it's a discontinued color so not too many like it! We've had a good time driving around and actually got caught in the rain today with the top down! The kids thought it was fun but Ben and I didn't :)

Playing Catch-up!

I know I haven't posted pics in a few weeks, but i'll make up for it today!

Grammy, Suzanne, and Grace flew in on Thursday of last week to visit and they left on Sunday. As always we had lots of fun and even went yard sale-ing on Saturday. Ben was so kind to stay home with the kids, but we rewarded him with 2 new big tools that he's wanted for a while now :)

On Thursday night was Wyatt's preschool graduation--it was really cute!

On Friday we visited the tea room in town for lunch (this is becoming a tradition for any time Grammy visits)...it's a wonderful place and the kids love it--we do, too!

On Friday night was Natalie's dance recital. While it didn't go too well, we enjoyed ourselves (at least I think we did!). I didn't get any decent pictures b/c she didn't want to be there and wasn't really cooperating!

Can you tell that these kids love dirt?

I will have lots of pictures up after the weekend. Wyatt has preschool graduation on Thursday, Natalie has her dance recital on Friday. Grammy, Suzanne, and Grace are coming on Thursday. We are so excited to see them!

Ben is changing jobs in the coming weeks so we need lots of prayer! He has been offered another job that will give him a promotion in position...but it will still be a drive.

We had absolutely beautiful weather this pastweekend--in the 70's both days! Hard to imagine that a week ago we had snow flurries!

Ben and I worked in the yard on saturday moving the kids swingset and mowing, then planning what to do to prepare the garden (we're having a big one this year!).

The kids had a great time playing on their bikes and most of all, in the dirt! At the end of the day we had a fire to burn some brush off and roasted lots of marshmallows! We reminded each other how blessed we are to finally have a big yard for the kids to play in.

See Natalie..right here is where you dig.

And this is what you find...

Tee Ball

Wyatt had his first Tee Ball practice today...he loved it! He was so excited that Ben was there to help him and be a part of his team :) He's such a good daddy!

And Natalie, doing her part to cheer on her big brother (and play in the grass!)
