I was recently asked if I let Natalie go out in public when she's dressed herself (which she insists on doing quite often). And yes, I do! I think it's fun to watch her with the different clothes and shoes, and even sometimes a hat! And yesterday she was getting so angry as we were running errands b/c we weren't going to wal-mart first. She finally told me that she wanted to go to wal-mart so that she could hear the sound her shoes make on their floor!

That is so funny. Don't you just love the minds of little girls?!! You're a good mom to let her wear what she wants. That phase doesn't seem to end with girls...you should see some of the things Emma (almost 7 yrs) tries to wear to school. We usually do make her tame it down a big, however Abby (age 4) usually gets her way. Today she's wearing pink sweatpants with a red snowman dress and a green pony tail holder (it had to be green). Gotta love it!
