Ben got this hammock at Lowes on clearance right after we moved in here (almost 2 years ago!). He and I enjoy relaxing in the shade while the kids play, but it has provided so much entertainment for them--and thank goodness it's really sturdy and has held up well!

They pile onto it and it doesn't take long before it's flipped them out--which apparently is the best part!
Yesterday afternoon Natalie worked really hard on 'dinner'. She added quite a few mystery ingredients and mixed them with water, then we had to pretend to eat it!
Looks yummy, doesn't it?
We spent some time outside in the sunshine, reading and playing. Wyatt is finishing up with Kindergarten and we've already started 1st grade reading. He's doing so good with school!
And this is Ben's new project. We have some not-so-attractive siding on the house that was put over brick! He started pulling the siding off, then we'll (actually, i'll probably just watch) power wash brick, patch it up in some spots, and repaint.

Natalie's dinner looks yummy!
You guys certainly picked a big project to tackle this summer! I hope it doesn't get too hot so it doesn't become a miserable thing to work on! Keep us posted with pictures!
I'm so thankful our fence is done, just in time for summer. That is definitely the biggest project we've ever tackled!

I used to make mystery dinners all the time! Mine were always more watery, though.

Lovely summer pictures you have!
