I witnessed something today that still has me shaking my head. And guessing that these parents need some serious help.
We were going into the grocery store and there was the cutest little girl having a meltdown. Not just any meltdown--she was literally jumping up and down, stomping her feet, and screaming!!! Right In Front Of The Store.
All because she wanted to ride IN the cart and her mom was asking her to please wait until they got into the store. This little cutie wasn't having it.
I kept thinking "if that we my child...."
And then I noticed everyone looking at me like I was supposed to do something!
Then I realized that it was my child.
Oh, I was so embarrassed. I don't think we've made a scene like that in public in a long time.
What did I do? I'd like to say that I did what would have happened to me if I had pulled a stunt like that when I was little, but of course you can't do that anymore.
So we went to the car and called dad....poor guy :( And I did get my shopping done, although i'm sure I looked pretty frazzled!

ha! Oh my and she was absolutely perfect when I saw her today! I just can't even picture it. I hope she still had her cute bows in her hair because I'm sure she looked cute throwing her fit!
Laughing!
I love stories like this...they always make me feel a little more "normal." We were at the doctor's office a few weeks ago and Ellie started screaming because she wanted to go, but I was still talking to the nurse. Then, Ellie reached out and grabbed my hair and starting pulling so hard. I almost cried as my 2-year-old held a handful of my hair. I guess all moms go through it, but it's a lot funnier when I'm reading about someone else's screaming child!
